Hesperia Shooting Investigation Underway After Woman Found Deceased on Willow Street
HESPERIA, CA — Deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded to a reported shooting at a residence on Willow Street in Hesperia on Sunday, April 12, 2026. The call was received at approximately 12:59 a.m.
Upon arrival at the scene, deputies discovered an unresponsive female, identified as Monique Bojorquez, in the driveway of the residence. Bojorquez had sustained a gunshot wound. Deputies administered medical aid until emergency medical personnel arrived; however, she was pronounced deceased at the location.
The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division has assumed control of the investigation. An autopsy has been scheduled to formally determine the cause and manner of death.
Authorities stated that the investigation remains ongoing. No information regarding potential suspects or the circumstances leading up to the shooting has been released.
