NET-5 Task Force Seizes Narcotics and Firearms in Yuba City Raid

YUBA CITY, CA  — March 12th 2026 — “🚨NET-5 Delivers Another Major Hit to Drugs and Illegal Guns 💪🚔

On February 11, 2026, Agents with the Yuba Sutter Narcotic and Gang Task Force (NET-5), with assistance from the Yuba City Police Department, served search warrants at two residences in Yuba City as part of an investigation into illegal firearms and narcotics.

During the operation, agents seized approximately 2.4 pounds of methamphetamine (1,092.82 grams), 77.1 grams of cocaine, four firearms, and $22,062 in U.S. currency.

The target of the search warrant was 50-year-old, Alex Montero of Yuba City. Montero was arrested and booked into the Sutter County Jail on multiple felonies as a result of the investigation. The case was sent to the Sutter County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.

This operation highlights the continued commitment of NET-5 and the Yuba City Police Department to disrupt narcotics trafficking and remove illegal firearms from our community.
