Unity in Action: YCPD and YCSO Collaborate for Safe Homicide Arrest
YUBA CITY, CA — “🤝🚓 Teamwork in Action: Multi-Agency Response Leads to Safe Homicide Suspect Arrest 🚨
In the early morning hours of Saturday, March 21st, the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department requested assistance from the Yuba City Police Department regarding an active homicide investigation.
B-Grave Shift patrol officers from the Yuba City Police Department quickly responded to a residence in the 2800 block of Jefferson Ave. to support the operation. Upon arrival, it was determined that one of the suspects was inside the residence.
Through strong coordination and seamless teamwork, officers with YCPD along with detectives from YCSO, worked together to safely resolve the situation. With the assistance of the Yuba City Police Department K9 Unit, the Yuba City Police Department Drone Unit, and patrol officers on scene, the suspect was safely taken into custody without incident.
This incident highlights the power of teamwork, communication, and partnership between agencies. When law enforcement works together with a shared mission, it leads to safer outcomes for everyone in our community.”
