Arrest made in Stabbing Investigation

Originally published as a Yuba County press release – 

“Linda, Ca.  – Yuba County Sheriff Detectives have arrested a man, identified as Daniel Solis age 30 of Linda, for Attempted Murder, Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Kidnapping, and Burglary, in a stabbing incident that occurred on Friday 10/1/2021 at approximately 1:30 p.m. at a home in the 1800 block of Kenwood Way in Linda.

Following last week’s incident and subsequent media release depicting door camera video of the alleged suspect, investigators received tips that led to the identification of Solis. After further investigation, detectives executed a search warrant at a residence on Hammonton Smartsville Rd in Linda, where Solis was located and arrested on Sunday morning, 10/3/2021.

The victim of the stabbing, a 59-year-old Linda man, was transported to a local hospital for treatment where he remains in stable condition. The incident remains under active investigation at this time.

Solis was booked in the Yuba County Jail with a bail of 1 million dollars.”
