UPDATE: Suspect arrested in fatal Marysville shooting

Police have announced that 29-year-old Jesse Jaramillo has been arrested.

Jaramillo was spotted by security officers at the Feather Falls Casino in Butte County, and Sheriff’s deputies were able to take him into custody without further incident.

MARYSVILLE — The Marysville Police Department are seeking the whereabouts of the suspect in a fatal shooting that occurred early last week.

Just before 4 AM on Sunday, September 22, officers responded to a disturbance call in the 1000 block of F Street to find a 37-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound. Unfortunately, she died soon thereafter.

Investigators were able to quickly identify the primary suspect as 29-year-old Jesse Jaramillo. Jaramillo is still at large and is considered armed and dangerous.

Law enforcement notes that Jaramillo is known to have ties to the Butte, Yuba, and Sutter County areas, and asks that anyone who has information regarding hes whereabouts contact the MPD at (530) 749-3908.
