Juvenile Suspect Arrested for Alleged Assault with a Deadly Weapon

FAIRFIELD, CA — “On Friday, December 12, 2025, at approximately 4:03 PM, Fairfield Police Dispatch received a report of a stabbing victim seeking medical attention. The victim, a 19-year-old male, had transported himself to a local hospital after sustaining stab wounds to his arm and chest.

Officers met with the victim at the hospital to begin their investigation.

According to the victim, he was driving near the intersection of San Remo Street and San Juan Street when he was approached by a group of six to seven juvenile males. Following a verbal exchange involving offensive language, a physical altercation ensued, during which the victim was stabbed.

Responding officers located the crime scene and secured evidence. Based on initial findings, investigators determined the incident was likely gang-related.

Over the weekend, members of the Youth Services Unit (School Resource Officers) conducted a follow-up investigation, successfully identifying the primary suspect as a 17-year-old high school student. Yesterday morning, SROs coordinated with school administrators to safely take the suspect into custody during class. He was booked into the Solano County Juvenile Detention Facility for assault with a deadly weapon.

Following the arrest, Detectives from the Special Operations Team (SOT) executed a search warrant at the suspect’s residence. During the search of the juvenile’s bedroom, detectives recovered evidence of the crime, a stolen firearm, and gang indicia. As a result, the suspect is facing additional charges. Due to his age, the suspect’s name is being withheld.”
