A 29-year-old Sacramento man has been arrested in Vacaville after allegedly murdering two women and livestreaming the aftermath on social media.

Just before 1 AM on January 30, police responded to a welfare check at Rocky Hill Veterans Apartments on Rocky Hill Road where, according to the woman who called police, a man had livestreamed video of what appeared to be two women lying on the floor and not moving.

The man in the video, later identified as Raymond Michael Weber, also appeared to be armed.

Responding officers learned that Weber already had an outstanding warrant for various felonies, such as domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon. As more officers and SWAT personnel began to arrive on scene, Weber reportedly barricaded himself in the apartment, beginning a standoff.

After negotiations failed, authorities evacuated all other units in the building and introduced chemical agents as a way of forcing Weber to surrender. When that also failed, officers made entry into the apartment and were able to subdue Weber with a taser.

He was ultimately taken into custody and booked on two counts of murder.

Two women were also found deceased in the apartment. Their identities are being withheld pending notification of family.

Weber appears to have had numerous prior run ins with the law, including arrests for being an addict in possession of a firearm, burglary, grand theft, participation in a criminal street gang and violation of parole.
