PITTSBURG, CA — Police responded to a report of a road rage incident on December 14, arrested two
suspects and recovered an AK-style assault rifle.
The suspects are identified as Angelo Pietro Grammatico, and Ashley Nicole Anderson. (No ages provided).
Officers responded to San Marcos Boulevard, but the suspects drove away before the law got there.
The police commenced searching nearby city streets, and found the vehicle associated with the
suspects.
The suspect vehicle was parked, according to a prepared statement from Pittsburg police. “The two
subjects were contacted near the vehicle and detained. A search of the vehicle resulted in the
recovery of an AK-style rifle and a large amount of ammunition.”
Upon further investigation, officers determined that Grammatico and Anderson are involved with
“multiple” other crimes. Moreover, both suspects have criminal records, which prohibits them from
possessing firearms.
Grammatico and Anderson were each taken to the Martinez Detention Facility, with charges
pending against them.
Grammatico was booked for violation of a protective order, and assault/battery resulting in great
bodily injury. In addition, he was booked for possession of a firearm by a felon. Bond for his
release from custody was set at $45,0000.
Anderson was booked for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and
possession of a firearm by a felon. Bond was set at $50,000 for her release from custody.
