Two Suspects Arrested on Robbery, Firearm Charges After Pismo Beach Shoplifting Incident
PISMO BEACH, CA — Officers from the Pismo Beach Police Department responded to reports of a shoplifting incident at a 7-Eleven location on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at approximately 1:25 a.m. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement was informed that one of the two suspects involved brandished a handgun at the store clerk during the commission of the crime.
Authorities obtained a description of the vehicle associated with the suspects. The vehicle was subsequently located in the downtown area a short time later, with assistance provided by the city’s license plate reading camera systems. Following the location of the vehicle, the two suspects were found and taken into custody.
The suspects were later booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail. Additionally, two female subjects associated with the two suspects were interviewed by officers and subsequently released. The Pismo Beach Police Department received assistance in the search and apprehension of the suspects from officers representing the Arroyo Grande Police Department, the Grover Beach Police Department, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office, and the California Highway Patrol.
One suspect, Nathaniel Ray Lemus (20), a resident of Los Banos, CA, was booked on several charges, with bail set at $109,000.00. These charges include Robbery (PC 211), Carrying a Loaded Firearm (PC 25850(a)), Committing a Felony with a Firearm (PC 12022.53(b)), and Resisting/Obstructing/Delaying a Peace Officer (PC 148(a)(1)). Lemus was also booked on four misdemeanor warrants originating from out of the county.
The second suspect, Rigoberto Cisneroslopez (22), from Winton, CA, was booked with bail set at $50,000.00. His charges include Prohibited Person Possessing Firearm Ammunition (PC 30305(a)(1)), Bringing a Controlled Substance into a Jail Facility (PC 4573(a)), Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale (PC 11378), Disobeying a Court Order (PC 166(a)(4)), and Shoplifting (PC 459.5(a)).
