PALM SPRINGS, CA — Palm Springs Police Department detectives are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred early Saturday morning (11/22/25) and resulted in the arrest of two individuals. The department’s Dispatch Center received a 9-1-1 call at approximately 1:51 a.m. on November 22, 2025, reporting an ongoing altercation in the 200 block of South Palm Canyon Drive.
As officers were en route to the location, they received updated information indicating that one person had sustained stab wounds. Upon arrival, emergency medical services attended to the primary victim, identified as a 32-year-old male visiting the Palm Springs area. The victim had sustained multiple stab wounds and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. He is reported to be in stable condition.
Following an on-scene investigation, police identified and apprehended two suspects involved in the incident. Jasper Oneal, 21, was arrested on suspicion of violating California Penal Code 245(a)(1) for Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Roman Pellum, 28, was arrested on suspicion of California Penal Code 242 for Battery. Both Oneal and Pellum were subsequently transported to the Riverside County Jail in Indio for the booking process.
