Sutter County Sheriff Investigates Report of Shots Fired in Yuba City
YUBA CITY, CA – On November 6, 2025, at approximately 2:15 a.m., deputies with the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of shots fired in the 1800 block of West Joseph Street in Yuba City.
Upon reaching the scene, officers conducted a comprehensive search of the area. The initial assessment confirmed the presence of evidence consistent with gunfire having occurred at the location.
Authorities have confirmed that no injuries were reported in connection with the incident. Additionally, the Sheriff’s Office has not identified a suspect in the case at this time.
The investigation has been transferred to the Investigations Unit of the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office and remains active. Detectives are currently working to gather further details and leads regarding the circumstances that led to the reported gunfire.
