Two Arrested in $40,000 Organized Retail Theft Case; Stolen Goods Returned to Stores

CHINO, CA  – October 8th 2025 — “Over the past few weeks, our officers investigated multiple theft incidents involving the same pattern of activity. Through diligent follow-up work, Retail Theft Investigators served a search warrant in Santa Ana which led to the arrest of two female suspects.

A large amount of stolen merchandise was recovered from several major retailers, including Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Baby Gap, and others. Due to the volume of property, valued at $40,000, a U-Haul truck was required to transport the items back to the station for processing.

The stolen merchandise has since been returned to the affected stores.

By working closely with retail partners, our Retail Theft Unit continues to make a significant impact in the fight against organized retail crime.”
