Nevada County Deputies Thwart Suspected Crime, Arrest Three Suspects
GRASS VALLEY, CA — “At approximately 1:42 a.m. on July 31, 2025, Nevada County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) deputies on routine patrol in a neighborhood just off of Highway 49 in Grass Valley noticed a suspicious vehicle parked near a property that had been recently burglarized.
The deputies opted to investigate as a safety precaution and intercepted one subject walking near the vehicle and two additional subjects who attempted to hide in a nearby field. Two loaded firearms, coupled with additional evidence at the scene, suggested the suspects were intending to commit a criminal act in the area. They were all subsequently arrested as followed:
• Narco Lowmac Gallon Jr., 21, of Sacramento was arrested for conspiracy to commit crime – 182(a)(1) PC; disordering conduct/loitering on a private property – 647(h) PC; carrying a loaded firearm in public under specific circumstances – 25850(a); giving/lending/buying a large capacity magazine conversion kit – 32311(a) PC; illegally possessing a large-capacity magazine – 32310(a) PC; possession of burglary tools – 466 PC; and carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle – 25400(a)(1) PC.
• Anthony Michale Victorio, 18, of Yuba City was arrested for conspiracy to commit crime – 182(a)(1) PC; disordering conduct/loitering on a private property – 647(h) PC; carrying a loaded firearm in public under specific circumstances – 25850(a); giving/lending/buying a large capacity magazine conversion kit – 32311(a) PC; illegally possessing a large-capacity magazine – 32310(a) PC; possession of burglary tools – 466 PC; and carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle – 25400(a)(1) PC.
• Anthony Jarell McKenzie II, 18, of Sacramento was arrested for conspiracy to commit crime – 182(a)(1) PC; disordering conduct/loitering on a private property – 647(h) PC; carrying a loaded firearm in public under specific circumstances – 25850(a); giving/lending/buying a large capacity magazine conversion kit – 32311(a) PC; illegally possessing a large-capacity magazine – 32310(a) PC; possession of burglary tools – 466 PC; carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle – 25400(a)(1) PC; and for providing false ID to a peace officer – 148.9(a).
This incident remains under investigation.”
