Hollister Man Arrested in Marina for DUI and Possession of Ghost Gun

CHARGES: 25850(a) PC – Carry a loaded firearm on person, 25400(a) (1) PC – Carry concealed weapon in a vehicle, 29180(c) PC – Possession of a firearm without a serial number, 21810 PC – Possession of metal knuckles, 272 PC – contribute to the delinquency of a minor, and 23152(a) CVC – DUI.

On 06/21/2025, at about 12:53 AM, A Marina Police Officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that was speeding and driving erratically in the area of S/B Highway 1 and Lightfighter Drive. The driver and juvenile occupants were contacted, and they all displayed symptoms of being under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. The driver was identified as Emmanuel Serrano a resident of Hollister CA. Serrano was found in possession of a concealed loaded, unregistered firearm (ghost gun) with a threaded barrel and no serial number. He was also in possession of metal knuckles. Serrano was arrested for possession of the firearm, possession of the metal knuckles, DUI and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was transported and booked into Monterey County Jail. The juveniles were safely released to the custody of their parents.
