Man Pulled Over for Expired Plates Allegedly Caught with Narcotics, Burglary Tools

“On Sunday, March 17, 2024, at approximately 12:20 a.m., BCSO deputies were on patrol in the area of East Park Avenue, Chico, when deputies observed a vehicle with an expired license plate. Deputies conducted a traffic stop, and contacted the driver, identified as Jesse Rogers, age 40. Deputies conducted a probation search and located heroin, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Deputies also located several keys, and suspected burglary tools inside the vehicle.

Rogers was arrested on several charges, to include possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of burglary tools, and was booked into the Butte County Jail.”
