Suspect arrested after Methamphetamine found in Vehicle on Hwy 49

Deputies in Placer County recently made a notable traffic stop on Highway 49 at Hulbert Way when they apprehended a motorcycle lacking a license plate. Following a routine stop, deputies conducted a search with the consent of the individual in question, leading to the discovery of various illegal items.

Among the items discovered during the search were a set of brass knuckles, 4 grams of suspected methamphetamine, what appeared to be psilocybin mushrooms, and a suspected methamphetamine pipe. The individual in question, identified as 51-year-old Howard Scott a convicted felon from Auburn, was promptly arrested on charges related to the possession of these items.
