“Stolen property returned, and arrest made!

In a recent case, Deputy McKim took a report about a stolen laptop. Shortly after, the victim advised deputies there were fraudulent purchases made and being shipped to an address in Watsonville. Deputy Herrera managed to identify a potential suspect linked to that address, and Deputy McKim confirmed the suspect was on probation with search terms.

After conducting a compliance search at the home, Deputy McKim not only found the stolen laptop, but also discovered other evidence of identity theft. The suspect, identified as Blas Marquez, was promptly arrested on multiple felony charges.”
