“Earlier today, our Crimes Against Persons Unit and Problem Oriented Policing (POP) Team served a search warrant in the 1100 block of Linden Street stemming from a shooting that occurred back in April near Madison Street and Mt. Vernon Avenue. Over the past few months, detectives investigating this shooting discovered 32-year-old Chayne Hudson was suspected of selling illegal weapons to local gang members.

As a result of today’s warrant service, Mr. Hudson, a convicted felon, was arrested and a handgun, shotgun, and approximately 1000 rounds of ammunition were seized as evidence. He was later booked into jail for weapons violations and is being held on $10,000 bail.
The initial shooting investigation is still ongoing.”
