“Oh April 1st, 2023 at about 12:20 AM, Marina PD Officers were dispatched to a report of a vehicle that crashed into a pole in front of 3016 Del Monte Blvd. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle with major front end damage and all airbags deployed. The driver and solo occupant was located at the scene and identified as 31 year old Eder Moreno of Salinas. An investigation revealed he was likely exiting south bound Highway 1 at south Del Monte Boulevard at high rate of speed and lost control ultimately colliding into the pole. Moreno was found to be driving while under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol content over .08%. He was transported to a local trauma center where he was cited and released after being admitted due to sustaining moderate facial injuries.”
