Two Juveniles Arrested Following Robbery at Del Monte Center Macy’s Store

MONTEREY, CA — Two male juveniles have been taken into custody following a robbery and assault reported at the Macy’s store at the Del Monte Shopping Center Center on April 11, 2026. Monterey Police Officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 7:46 P.M. after the suspects reportedly exited the store with over $2,000 in unpaid clothing.

According to the investigation, Macy’s Loss Prevention employees attempted to stop the individuals for shoplifting. During the encounter, one juvenile brandished a knife and moved toward employees with slashing motions. Both suspects subsequently fled the scene.

On April 13, 2026, at 6:11 P.M., the suspects were located at the Northridge Shopping Mall in Salinas. Salinas Police Officers arrested both juveniles outside a Macy’s location. A search of their vehicle revealed stolen merchandise from both shopping centers, as well as ammunition and 3D-printed firearm components.

Both juveniles were booked into Monterey Juvenile Hall on charges including robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, grand theft, and conspiracy. The investigation remains active.
