Firearms seized | Merced PD
“Merced – Curtis Como (41) was arrested on weapon charges outside at the Merced Casino parking lot.
On Thursday, February 9th, 2023 at 11:50 PM, officers responded to the Merced Casino at 1459 Martin Luther King Junior Way for suspicious person inside a vehicle who was reported to be intoxicated.
Officers located the vehicle and contacted Curtis Como and Michael Reid.
Officers searched the vehicle and located two (2) unserialized AR-pistol firearms, armor piecing ammunition, high-capacity magazines. Como is prohibited from possessing firearms due to his criminal history.
Como was arrested on weapon charges. Reid was arrested on a felony warrant. They were both booked into the Merced County Jail.
