We have been following the progress of the Operation Consequences Task Force since October of 2022. The week of January 21st – January 27th , 2023 was another successful one for the team as they made another 24 felony arrests and rescued 14 victims of sex trafficking.
The team served a total of 34 search warrants. This led to the 24 arrests for multiple crimes including drugs, weapons and sex trafficking.
A total of 28 pounds of methamphetamine and half a pound of cocaine were seized as well as 31 firearms.
The San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force joined the team this week in Operation Reclaim and Rebuild (R&R). The R&R task force was created as a statewide Human Trafficking operation to rescue victims of sex trafficking and human trafficking to provide them with services and getting their captors off of the street. The team is also working on arresting the customers of these crimes.
This week the R&R team served 6 search warrants connected to human trafficking. There were 21 arrests made and 14 victims were rescued in connection to these warrants.
The Operation Consequences Task Force has so far made 337 felony arrests and confiscated 216 illegal firearms Since October 16th, 2022.
