Fresno Police Make Three Arrests, Confiscate Drugs and Firearms in Two Separate Cases

Items confiscated in first case

Fresno police arrested three people last Friday night on weapons and narcotics charges in two separate cases.

On the night of Friday, December 3, police responded to the parking lot of an apartment complex, where it was reported that a group of people were hanging out and one of them appeared to have a gun tucked in their waistband, police said in a press release.

Responding officers contacted the group, one of whom allegedly had an unregistered firearm in their waistband. The individual was also reportedly found to have a large capacity drum, suspected narcotics, and nearly $800 in cash. A second individual was found to be in possession of a stolen gun, police said.

Both individuals, who were on felony probation, were booked on multiple charges.

Elsewhere that same night, patrol detectives reportedly pulled over a vehicle for a code violation in the area of Ballard and Cornelia Avenues.

Items confiscated in second case

The driver, identified as an 18-year-old male, reportedly admitted to having a marijuana wax pen in his vehicle. Officers searched the driver and the vehicle and discovered just over $700 in small denominations, as well as ten THC pens, six containers of THC wax, edibles, and nearly 10 grams of psilocybin mushrooms.

Two replica firearms were also found, police said.

Due to the individual being under the age of 21, he is legally prohibited from possessing cannabis products.

The individual was taken into custody on suspicion of narcotics sales and booked at the Fresno County jail.
