Clovis Police officers were called to Shaw and Willow on June 16, 2020 for reports of a stabbing.
The male victim reported a female known to him stabbed him in the abdomen and arm while they were both in a vehicle.
His injuries were not life-threatening and he was treated at a local hospital.
The suspect, 22-year old Jacqueline Ayala of Fresno, was detained at the scene.
The weapon used in the stabbing was found in the vehicle. Ayala was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence with injury.
She was questioned at the Clovis Police Department and booked at Fresno County Jail afterwards. She has since bonded out.
