Irvine Burglary Suspect Arrested at Self Storage Facility

IRVINE — An officer from the Irvine Police Department was investigating a suspicious car at a self storage facility where a recent burglary had taken place.

As the officer contacted the occupants, his police radio announced descriptions of the suspects in the recent burglary.

The officer recognized that the descriptions on the radio match the descriptions of the people in the suspicious car.

The woman, identified as Maria Kristan Aldananavarro (40) of Santa Ana, was arrested and was booked at the Orange County Jail on suspicion of possession of stolen property and burglary.

The other occupant, whose name was not released, was reportedly arrested on narcotics charges.
