Suspects Arrested for Murder of Young Mother and Infant Daughter

An arrest was made on November 09, 2022 in Fresno, CA for the murder of a young mother and her infant daughter. The suspects arrested were Yarelly Solorio-Rivera 22 yrs old, and Martin Arroyo-Morales 26 yrs old. Solorio-Rivera and Arroyo Morales were arrested on suspicion for the homicides of Yanelly Solorio-Rivera and her infant daughter Celine. The Fresno PD worked with multiple law enforcement agencies to find and arrest the suspects.

On September 24,2022 Fresno PD Officers responded to a report of multiple gunshots fired. They arrived at a residence on Fruit Ave. and found 18 yr old Yanelly Solorio-Rivera and her only 3 week old baby girl Celine with multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics were immediately called , however both victims were pronounced dead at the scene from their injuries.
The 2 suspects were booked on two counts of murder and are being held at the Fresno County Jail on $2 million dollars bail each. The Detectives are continuing to work on the case and gather evidence. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Fresno Police Department.
