“Merced – On April 26, 2022 at 8:01P.M. Officer Zazueta made an enforcement stop in the 2100 blk of F st.

During his investigation he learned that two passengers in the vehicle had outstanding felony warrants.

Candra Soto (27) and Pedro Gerardo Torrez (45) both were taken into custody.

During the search of the vehicle a backpack containing a loaded firearm was discovered in between where Torrez & Soto were sitting.

Both Torrez and Soto were booked for various weapons violations as well as their felony warrants.
