BRENTWOOD — A suspect was arrested for allegedly threatening to shoot terrified customers at a business. The man was quickly apprehended, and a firearm and ammunition were safely confiscated from him.

First, several callers reported a disturbance on the 600 block of First Street. There was a man acting belligerent and threatening to start a fight. Several more calls followed, but this time callers reported that he was armed.

Several witnesses pointed out to responding officers the direction the suspect was last seen walking. Allen T. Green, a 37-year-old resident of Sacramento, was located and arrested without further incident.

Witnesses told officers a tense situation escalated until Green threatened to start shooting. He purportedly displayed a firearm while making his threats. Fortunately, no one was shot.
