Fresno police have announced the arrest of a man wanted in connection to a recent shooting.

23-year-old Raiqwan Jetton was wanted in connection to an alleged shooting at a party in the area of Fresno Street and Nees Avenue on Sunday, October 24. Police say that, following a disturbance, Jetton allegedly drew a gun and opened fire at a crowd of people, striking an unoccupied vehicle. Jetton then fled the scene. Nobody was injured.

Jetton, a known member of the West Fresno Gang, was identified as the primary suspect shortly after the shooting.

Felony Assault detectives secured and served a search warrant at Jetton’s home in Selma, where he was located and arrested without incident. Detectives also served a search warrant at a residence in Fowler, where they located five guns as well as other evidence connected to the shooting, police said.

Jetton was booked at the Fresno County jail.
