“On March 3, 2021 at approximately 6:25 pm, Greg Lester Duke was arrested in the vicinity of Leghorns Park by a Petaluma Police Officer who had been patrolling the area and had noticed Duke loitering there.

The arresting officer was familiar with Duke from prior cases at this location. Duke had been previously arrested for charges related to annoying and harassing young children at the park and was on probation prohibiting him from being within 100 yards of the area and other places children congregate.

The arresting officer noted Duke had been lingering in the area for some time and was well within 100 yards of the park. A probation search of Duke and his vehicle was also conducted. Two knives, which he was not allowed to possess, were seized as evidence from that search.

Duke was arrested for violation of his probation ( 1203.2 PC) and transported to Sonoma County Jail.”
