Three people have been arrested on suspicion of sexual abuse against a 12-year-old girl, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

38-year-old Tammy Schreiner and 36-year-old Jill Cox were arrested after detectives served a search warrant at the East Princeton Avenue home they were sharing with Cox’s husband, Brent.  Authorities say the three were in an open relationship with one another in what’s known as a “throuple,” a relationship involving three participants instead of two.

Brent Cox, 41, was also allegedly involved in the abuse against the girl, whom authorities have revealed is Tammy Schreiner’s own daughter, and had already been arrested the day before.

Investigators say they discovered evidence confirming that Brent had been abusing the girl over the course of several months, occasionally with the involvement of his wife and the girl’s mother.

All three are now in custody at the Fresno County Jail on multiple felony charges relating to the sexual abuse of a child.
