“The holiday season has been a busy one for the Investigations Division. Over the past couple months, the Property Crimes Unit has conducted enforcement operations and various investigations throughout Monterey County.
During these investigations, Detectives seized over 20 illegally possessed firearms, thousands of dollars in cash, over 3.5 pounds of various drugs to include methamphetamine and heroin. Additionally, Detectives recovered and have been able to return stolen property to the rightful owners valued at over $10,000. Over 30 people were arrested during this time on various drug, weapons, and theft related charges.
The Investigations Division would like to thank the citizens of Monterey County for their continued support. Without your help, none of this would be possible.”
