AZUSA – A 10:30 AM “Robbery” call immediately dispatched Azusa Police Department Officers to the parking lot of 1240 West Foothill Boulevard on December 13th. Officers investigating the robbery – which had just occurred – determined that the victims had been robbed at gunpoint.

“Fortunately, the victims were able to provide descriptions of both suspects and the vehicle used during the robbery,” said Azusa PD. “After additional investigation, Azusa Police Detectives, with assistance from Monrovia Police Department Detectives, were able to identify the alleged suspects from the robbery.”

Four days later, with search warrants in-hand, Azusa Police Department Detectives, along with the Azusa Police Department SWAT Team, headed west – to the City of Monrovia.

The alleged suspects, Maximilian Delgado (28), of Monrovia, and Iztel Tostado (26) also of Monrovia, were both served on December 17th. The duo was taken into custody without incident.

As a result, Delgado and Tostado were each charged with robbery, then transported to Azusa Police Department for booking.
