Over 300 Fentanyl Pills Confiscated During Search Warrant

The afternoon of December 14th detectives of the Porterville Police Department’s Special Investigation Unit initiated a traffic stop on the 1400 block of West Henderson Avenue to serve a search warrant on 19-year old Blaze Laird.

Laird was wanted on two misdemeanor warrants and found in possession of fentanyl. He was arrested for the warrant, possession of narcotics for sale, and transportation of narcotics. He was booked at the Tulare County Jail with bail set at $70,000.

Further investigation led to a search warrant being served at a residence of the 1700 block of West Henderson Avenue. 41-year old Karl Bradley and 49-year old Hannah Cole were contacted at the home in which detectives confiscated over 300 fentanyl pills, cocaine, scales, packaging, ammunition, and other evidence pointing to the sale of drugs.

Bradley was arrested for a felony warrant, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of cocaine, and possession of narcotics for sale. Cole was arrested for possession of cocaine and possession of narcotics for sale. Both were booked at the Tulare County Jail. Bradley’s bail was set at $85,000 and Cole’s at $50,000.
