On July 4th 19-year-old Janessa Delvalle was shot but “pronounced deceased shortly after arriving at the hospital.”
An investigation began into the homicide that occurred at 5100 Cedarwood Road in Bonita.
A fight had erupted between several women prior to the shooting, in an apartment complex parking lot.
20-year-old Giovanny Rodriguez has been identified as the suspect. He was arrested and booked for murder.
