“On Thursday, PPD officers responded to a call to check on a male that was passed out in his parked vehicle.
Officers contacted 23 year old Zachary Leonard of Placerville, who had passed out in the vehicle.
Officers saw illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Officers seized methamphetamine, heroin, Xanax pills and drug paraphernalia.
Leonard was evaluated and determined to be under the influence of drugs. He was arrested and booked into El Dorado County Jail for multiple drug offenses.
The police department would like to thank the anonymous citizen who called to report this.”
