“Tracy, Calif. – On Wednesday July 29th, 2020 about 2:52 pm, the Tracy Police responded to the 1700 block of W. 11th Street regarding a road rage incident involving a driver of a vehicle who fired a weapon at another vehicle, no person(s) were injured. The Tracy PD General Investigations Unit investigated the case and identified 34 year old Julio Valdez of Tracy as being the shooter.

On Thursday August 13, 2020 the Tracy Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit and Special Enforcement Team, along with our Traffic Units located and arrested Valdez without incident.

Valdez was charged with 246 PC-Shooting at an occupied vehicle, 417(a)(2) PC-Brandishing a firearm, 25850(c)(4) PC-Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and 3000.08 PC-Violation of Parole. He was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail and there are no outstanding suspects.”
