“Yesterday, April 17, at around 1:30 pm, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Tam O Shanter Drive and Hammer Lane in Stockton for having tinted front windows, a violation of California Vehicle Code 26708.  After initially speeding up, the driver pulled over and stopped. One of the passengers was on active probation, and all four occupants were detained while a compliance check of the vehicle was conducted.

Two unserialized short-barreled rifles with high-capacity magazines, one unregistered pistol, and over $4,500 in cash were found in the vehicle.

The following individuals were arrested and booked for various firearms-related charges:

All four individuals are documented gang members.”
