Arrest thanks to surveillance camera footage

Recently one morning a deputy was sent to the Alladin Motor Inn on the report of a theft.

Earlier someone had stolen a chain saw from the bed of a truck and hid it in the bushes.

The incident was caught on the surveillance video, so the deputy went to the room of “the responsible party.”

27-year-old Samantha Miccichi of Sonora and 25-year-old Jared Mobley of Southerland, both on searchable probation, met other arriving deputies and K( officer Thor.

In addition Mobley had an active warrant out for his arrest.

The couple’s room contained 20 grams of heroin, “and other drug sales and drug use related paraphernalia.”

Mobley also had a forged check in his pocket.

He was arrested for charges of possession of narcotics for sale, grand theft, possession of a forged check, and possession of paraphernalia.

Miccichi had heroin and paraphernalia in her possession and was “issued a citation and released from the scene.”

Turns out Mobely also robbed D&D Antiques on June 19, taking items that totaled $150 in value. This added a robbery booking to his criminal resume.
