Two guys, sitting in their car, drinking alcohol, with a gun and meth in the car, as told by the Salinas Police Department –
“Officers with VSTF were on patrol in the area of Tatums Garden park when they noticed two males drinking in their vehicle.
Officers made contact and when they had the driver Steven Poe(24) step out of the vehicle, they noticed a handgun shoved in between the seat and center console.
After officer’s detained the two occupants K9 Oakley conducted a narcotics sniff of the vehicle, locating .5g of meth in the center console and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
The firearm was a unregistered loaded .22 cal. semi-auto handgun. Poe who is a convicted felon was transported to Monterey County Jail where he was lodged on numerous drug and weapons charges.
