Roseville Police Department released a story on their offical Facebook page about help from law-abiding citizens who help to stop a crime –

“On Saturday 2/1, RPD Officers responded to an apartment complex in the 1600 block of Kent Place for a suspect possibly breaking into a building. Upon their arrival they were able to watch as the suspect was attempting to break into the coin machine located in the apartment complex laundry room.

The suspect was wearing a mask over his face and had a large screwdriver to pry open the coin machine. Officers contacted the masked suspect who was taken into custody without incident. Justin Murray (dob 8/8/1980) was booked into the South Placer Jail on charges of burglary and possession of burglary tools.

This is a great reminder to report suspicious activity. This suspect was caught because an alert resident called in to report the suspicious person.”
