Sting operation leads to eight arrests on suspicion of trying to meet minors for sex

LATHROP — Over the last two weeks, beginning on Monday, October 21st, local police have made eight arrests involving individuals accused of attempting to solicit minors for sex.

All were arrested following sting operations in which an undercover officer posed as a minor under the age of 14.

The suspects are:

All have since been booked on suspicion of attempted lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under the age of 14, arranging to meet a minor for the purposes of having sex, arranging to meet a minor under the age of 14 for the purposes of having sex.
