YUBA CITY – A collision occurred on the morning of October 1 on Lincoln Road and South Walton. The driver, 29-year-old Bianca Elizabeth Dumbazu, left her vehicle, with her toddler son.

Not only did Dumbazu leave the scene of the accident, she then “stole another vehicle and drove away.”

Alert and involved witnesses followed the suspect as she drove “recklessly southbound on Township Road near O’Banion Road.”

Arriving deputies picked up the chase, and saw Dumbazu lose control of the stolen car and crash it near Township and O’Banion Roads.

After being medically cleared, Dumbazu was booked for child endangerment, possession of a stolen vehicle, DUI and felony hit and run.

Her uninjured son was taken into protective custody.
