Broken wrist in domestic violence incident

BISHOP – A man and a woman were engaged in physical altercation on the evening of July 30th. Officers with the Bishop Police Department went to a residence in the 200 block of May Street in response.

Once there, they encountered a woman with a broken wrist, courtesy of her boyfriend.

57-year-old Bryan Talbert McCartney was arrested and taken to the Inyo County Jail.

McCartney was booked for the charges of domestic violence with corporal injury, battery with great bodily injury and violation of probation.
