NILAND – ICSO deputies responded to “The Slabs” near Niland on Saturday July 28. In the first place, the report came to authorities that someone had sexually assaulted two minors.
Police identified the suspect in the assault as 37-year-old Michal Jay Dibble
An investigation began, and at its conclusion investigators arrested Dibble. His charges are lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14. He also has “other related charges.”
Police booked Dibble into the Imperial County Jail. He faces a bail of $500,000.
Dibble’s next court date is set for August 3 in Brawley Superior Court.
