Two Recent Busts, $1 Million+ Street Value of Drugs Seized

BAKERSFIELD – The KCSO Narcotics Unit conducted two recent busts and announced the results.

First of all, on July 18, they went to the 2400 block of Paradise Point with a search warrant.  Once there, investigators seized 21 pounds of meth, $4,259 in cash, and two firearms.

The estimated street value of the meth is $392,760. Detectives arrest one unnamed man at this location.

Then, on July 20, detectives executed five search warrants “in the Bakersfield area.”  These warrants yielded 418 pounds of processed marijuana and 192 marijuana plants. In addition, they seized $64,596 and seven firearms.

The estimated street value of plants and processed marijuana is $695,800.  The total estimated value is at least $1088,560.  Detectives arrested three men in the July 20 operation.
