KING CITY – The relationship between an adult teacher and her 16-year-old student began in November of 2017. Finally, it ended in June.

The MCSO named 29-year-old Jennifer Suzanne Jones as the pedophile.  Consequently, they arrested her at her home in the 600 block of Heirloom Place on June 28.

Allegations arose in June and investigators interviewed the victim, a student at Pinnacle Academy Charter School. The South Monterey County Joint High School District complied fully with the MCSO.

Law enforcement determined that the relationship was sexual in nature and that Jones “supplied marijuana to consume on occasions.”

Of course, Jones is no longer employed by the SMCJHSD. Jones faces a $500,000 bail.

Detectives believe no sexual activity occurred on school property.

Anyone with information regarding this case or Jennifer Jones can call Detective Javier Galvan at 831-755-3811. Also, you may contact Detective Sergeant Bryan Hoskins at 831-755-3773.
