Riding Around in a Stolen Truck gets Girl Arrested

FRESNO — The CCATT (Career Criminal Auto Theft Team) made another arrest Thursday in Fresno.

Detectives spotted a 1998 Chevy S-10 pickup truck being driven near Thorne and Thomas Avenues. This vehicle had been reported stolen from Fresno.

As detectives continued their surveillance, they later saw the truck become re-occupied and proceeded to follow it.

Near Olive Avenue and Freeway 99, they stopped the truck and arrested its driver.

26-year-old Fresno resident Maria Sanchez  was booked into the Frenso County Jail on a charge of felony auto theft and possession of a stolen vehicle.
