Police Investigating Multiple Suspicious Deaths Throughout San Jose

SAN JOSE — Police have reported a double homicide on Sunday, April 24, in the block of 3000 block of Lucas Court. Officers had responded to the area at approximately 2 PM on a suspicious circumstances call.

The nature of the crime was not immediately known. Two victims’ bodies were discovered by concerned relatives after days of unanswered phone calls or knocks on the door. According to police, the two victims were 57-year-old Shamima Rabbi and her husband, 59-year-old Golam Rabbi, found dead in their home from multiple gunshot wounds.

The motive behind the shooting remains unknown at this time.

The double-murder comes on the heels of a recent shootout between two rival gangs, which resulted in three dead. Meanwhile, police are also inquiring into the circumstances surrounding the death of a homeless man, who was discovered in his vehicle.

Police are also continuing to investigate the death of 52-year-old Cesar Herrera Godinez. According to authorities, Godinez was reported to have lived in his van at various locations in the cities of Morgan Hill and Gilroy. He was also said to frequently have a dog with him.
