Transient Strong Arms Victim for Cash

The San Luis Obispo Police have a transient in custody who robbed another man on Sunday.

According to SLOPD, officers were called to the scene at the County bus stop located on Osos Street between Palm and Monterey Streets. The report stated two males were involved in a fight around 12:45 p.m.

One of the males told officers he was robbed by another after he tried to give him some money. The suspect asked the victim for a few dollars. There was no weapon reported used in the robbery. The victim was identified as George Durst, 42, of San Luis Obispo. After getting a description of the suspect from Durst, police were able to locate him in the downtown area.

Police arrested Ryan Kenlon, 25, a transient of, San Luis Obispo.

Kenlon was booked at SLO County Jail for robbery. His bail was set at $60,000.
